Also yes you have that power deep inside you, other Red. But clever guy, the simulation was indeed coming to an end. The younger Red doesn't come out right afterwards, waiting to first check over his team and how they are - maybe they could take a short break.

But a short break in an area that wasn't a rocky mountain or a plain room would be more fun, so either way that door is getting opened and --

Hey!! That was really impressive. I heard you were a trainer, but I didn't know you could do magic and stuff too!

Huh? What? [ Was he watching-? Right, of course he was. ] Oh... yeah.

[ Sorry Red, he's just going to continue standing there, half looking at the older boy and half looking away. There's no trying to tell himself that this isn't Red, Gold's Red -- Gold was so kind after all to let him know how he looked; Red hadn't forgotten how he did either.

It's a familiar appearance, in a way. ]

[He can't help but laugh a little at that. He feels kinda bad for the poor kid, after just rushing up to him like that.]

Yeah. [ I know -- but he's not going to say that. ] I mean -- I'm Red too.

But I guess you knew that. [ And, well, uh.... okay, maybe he will- ] Gold and Silver told me about you.

Yeah, I did! I mean, you kinda look like me, you have the same Pokemon as me... a couple'a people told me about you too! Not those two, though.

[Which... he just kinda laughs at that.]

[ The same pokémon? He didn't know about that. But anyway! ]

No... both of them spoke really highly of you. Or Silver did, and Gold told me you're his mentor, sorta. He didn't tell me it was you, but - yeah. That's what he said.

[ And also showed you off in the battle dome but YOU KNOW... Red's feet fidget, and he waits a second before continuing- ]

Um... so, did you need something? [ well he was apparently watching him, soo ] Or, were you just sayin' hi?

Oh, really? I'm glad then!

I was just sayin' hi! I wanted to get to know you, since well... we're apparently each other! Kinda.

Um, well... I'm kinda busy right now. [ He nods his head back. ] My pokémon are waiting for me inside.

[ Though, saying that... ]

I don't have anything to share anyway. I'm just a normal trainer.

But I wouldn't say that. There's no such thing as a "normal" trainer! All of 'em are pretty great in their own way, y'know? You'll never find someone with an identical battling style.

I guess? [ UGH, THIS IS GETTING MORE AWKWARD. UHHH, UHHH...

His brows knit. ]

If you're trying to ask me to a battle, I don't want to do it, okay? And-- I don't really want to talk about our differences or whatever either. [ He almost wants to take a step back, but he came out here to use the control panel.

So he's going to! He moves forward- ] Sorry, 'cuse me. [ so please let him through to go to it. ]

Huh? Oh... that's fine! I wasn't asking for a battle or anything.

[Yeah, he'll let him mess with the control panel again!]

I was just sayin' in general with the differences, though.

[ Red hums a short note just to give an answer, pushing through the options but not fully paying attention to either Red or the list. Actually, the problem is that he's paying too much attention to the fact that Red's there.

Should he say something though just to not be entirely silent?


Beyond taking a quick look over to Red and then returning to the panel, the answer is nope. ]

So uh... you settling in and stuff easily around here?

I've been here for a few months now. [ ... ] Uhm... what about you?

Yeah, I'm doin' pretty alright! But I mean... I was here before, so I guess I kinda got a head start.

[pokeboy]

One guy thought I was you because of my name and pokémon.

I'm not surprised. A couple'a people thought the same with me. I thought they were talking about a different Red at first.

[pokeboy]

What do you-- oh, you mean they thought you were me?

[bravefighter]

Yeah! And I thought they meant a different Red that was here before. He was a dog guy!

[pokeboy]

Dog guy? [ ... hah. Red shakes his head. ] Never heard of him.

[bravefighter]

Guess he's not here anymore then. That's a shame. He was a pretty cool guy!

[pokeboy]

Mmm, it's probably better he is though. [ Annnddd- ] ah, I'm done.

[ He faces away from the console with a step, looking at Red with a mouth pulled out at the sides but not really a smile. ]

I should get back to my pokémon. ...but it was nice meeting you.

Maybe... but it's kinda fun here sometimes.

[But oh! He nods, smiling.]

It was nice meeting you too! We'll have to hang out more sometime. I really wanna get to know you more!

[ Red pulls his lips up and nods, lifting a hand for a wave and then passing the other Red by to go back into his room. But, before he closes the door once he's in- ]
