Halfway there! That's pretty good progress.

Yeah... they kinda are. A lot of 'em were members of Team Rocket, but lately, we can really depend on them.

Depend on them for what? Running the gyms?

Well, that's one thing, yeah. A couple'a years ago, they stood up to the new Team Rocket that started popping up too.

What about Giovanni?

[The last time he saw him was on the airship, and even then...]

[ He can feel his shoulders stiffen, and he looks away so there's only the sight of bark and dirt to take in than another human being or pokémon.

One Giovanni was bad enough in the world -- or universe. Any universe. There should be (none) one Giovanni and no more. ]

Okay. [ Just a simple enough answer. Too simple all things considered, but there's nothing more Red wants to ask. Wasn't he only sitting here so the two venusaurs spend time together? ... ugh.

[Yeah he's got nothing, really. He eats his own sandwich, hugging Poli somewhat just to try to figure that all out. He really had no clue where he went after the airship battle. Everything was kind of rushed from there.

So where exactly was he? He shook his head, not trying to think too much on it. He was here before, too, so he could just ask him if he ever got the chance to again.]

Lance is the Champion in my world.

I guess after hearing about your gym leaders, that shouldn't sound surprising. Everyone is really different. [ Does he really want to know? Not really.

[Green being Blue... uh. He laughs at the thought, even if that just sounds weird]

We've got a Blue and a Green both, and those two switchin' would be waaaay too weird.

I don't know any Green. [ He'll know a Leaf in the future tho!! har har har ] What do you mean though, you've got a Blue? Are you a group?

Kinda, yeah! We're all the Pokédex holders from Kanto, so a group is a pretty good way to put it.

Pokédex holders...? So Professor Oak asked you to fill up his pokédex too?

Yup, sure did! Got a pretty decent amount of it done, too.

How many? [ NOT THAT HE CARES OR ANYTHING. ]

Probably around half or so? If that, even.

[He laughs at himself, thinking about it.]

I said a decent amount, and I didn't even make it that far. Green was more focused on it than me.

I'm focused. [ Though, it's not like it matters if this Red isn't, right? ] I mean- I wouldn't have Venusaur if Professor Oak hadn't let me take her, so I owe him.

He asked me too, me and Blue. It's his dream to get his pokédex completed. [ ... ] Did he ask you too?

It's been a while. It was somethin' along the lines of that I'd be a great trainer by the time I completed it.
